Cori Broadus, 26, shared a post to her Instagram Stories on January 31, sharing that her 10-month-old daughter, Codi Dreaux, had passed away. Cori wrote: "Monday; I lost the love of my life. My Codi," followed by an emoji of an angel wing.

Her fiancé and Cori's father, Wayne Deuce, also paid tribute to the couple's daughter with his own social media post. “I been the saddest since u left me Codi Dreaux," he wrote, with the post also showing a picture of him holding his baby daughter. 

"But I know u at peace," he added. "Daddy will always love you. My baby." Codi had been born three months premature and had spent an extended period of 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit.

The American President, 79, has been flooded with accusations that he... ahem, had a little accident while speaking to reporters last week, after a video taken during a press conference has gone viral online. 

Now, while there's, of course, nothing proving this happened whatsoever, the internet has done what it does best and ran away with the idea after someone suggested it. The quick dismissal of people from the room paired with a few sour faces behind Trump is what really sparked the whispers. 

The video in question was taken during a White House press conference last week (29 January), which saw the Republican sign an executive order aimed at addiction recovery efforts. As we say, in the video, Trump seemingly puts an abrupt end to the political meeting and signals for reporters to leave the room.

After catching light of the clip, people rushed to social media to share their reactions, with many absolutely convinced that Trump suffered a seriously awkward bowel blunder, claiming they heard him ‘sh*rt’, convinced it was the reason why everybody left with such haste.

One X user penned: “I know there's a lot going on right now competing for our attention, but I need you all to see that Trump sh*rted himself on live TV so loud you can hear it and the aides had to rush all the press out of the room.” Another declared: “So yeah... Donald Trump, on live TV, in front of journalists, at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, sh*t himself, and you can hear it.

And someone else joked: "The way they all had smiles plastered on their faces trying desperately to look like nothing has happened is hilarious."

While the prospect of a world leader ‘pooing himself’ in front of the whole world may be a funny prospect to some, it didn’t actually happen. White House spokesman Steven Cheung has confirmed that the rumour making its rounds all across the internet was simply ‘not true’. 

Fact-checking site Snopes reports that the video was ‘authentic and showed no signs of digital manipulation or content generated by artificial intelligence’. However, the outlet adds ‘there was no evidence to support the claim that Trump pooped himself during the meeting’. So there you have it, mystery solved. 

The Canadian singer, 31, and Rhode businesswoman, 29, looked like the perfect celebrity 'it' couple as they stormed the red carpet at the annual music awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (1 Febraury). Hailey donned a strapless black dress from Alaïa that boasted sheer cutouts on the skirt and thighs, while her hubby sported a matching oversized black suit. 

On the red carpet, the couple posed and linked arms, with Justin wrapping his arm around his wife as they faced the cameras, before heading inside to watch the ceremony and perform his song 'YUKON'. As we say, a body language expert has weighed in on the famous duo's latest appearance at the Grammys, pointing out that they have 'no real desire to perform for the cameras' and gave a 'high-impact look and a lesson in A-list cool'. 

Body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail that Hailey and Justin's 'form of silent communication on the red carpet is sparse and unusual'. She explained: "Their tactile behaviour increased as they went from spot to spot. At the start, they posed without touching and there was only one moment of touch between them when Hailey bent to straighten her hem and held onto his bicep briefly for balance."

"By the second pose she had linked her hand into his arm, and they were holding hands later on, but they seem not to be using eye contact at all." The expert said both parties 'looked too cool to smile' but Justin did at one point 'hike his mouth upward to suggest a desire to be seen as more friendly."

However, James believes the celebrity couple weren't 'performing' for the audience or using 'power-couple cheese'. She revealed: "The lack of any show-pony rituals like kissing or draping suggests no real desire to perform for the cameras emotionally apart from to look both together and cool."

Later adding: "Following what have at times looked like his "wilderness" years when his signature look has been baggy casuals and a head-bowed set of aversion signals towards the cameras, Justin arrived on the red carpet with Hailey showing strong signs of repair in terms of confidence and style.

"The couple looked elegant here, and although Justin did at first follow Hailey out with his head slightly bowed, he moved on to adopt a pose that made him look like the one in control of the moment, with his legs splayed in a pose of alpha confidence and his hands in his trouser pocket." 

It comes just after lip reader Nicola Hickling spoke to The Mirror about Hailey and Justin's red carpet interactions, alleging that he the latter told his wife: "Don’t grab me." The report comment took place after Hailey reached out for Bieber's arm while posing for papparrazi, prompting him to shake her off before walking away.

The Night Agent star, who leads the Netflix thriller as Peter Sutherland, sat down with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday (February 3). The late night talk show host was eager to question Basso as to why he'd deleted his Instagram - a move fans had quickly clocked on to. 

Turns out, the 31-year-old had a sudden realization after mindlessly consuming a picture taken from the top of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. And no - it wasn't that the picture was AI-generated, in this instance. "I was doom-scrolling and I saw a picture from the top of Mount Everest. And I was like, ‘Wow, this is beautiful,'" Basso explained.

“And then I stopped and I was like, ‘Wait, what?’ Why do I now know what that looks like? “And it p****d me off that that guy stepped over literal bodies to get up there to see that view, and now I was seeing it from my couch. 

“And it bothered me that I had that image in my head now without any effort to earn that visual. And I was like, ‘Dude, screw this whole platform.’” Roughly 800 people attempt to climb Mount Everest, located on the Nepal-China border, each year, as per Ian Taylor Trekking. 

Towering more than 29,000 feet above sea level, it's an incredibly dangerous feat. At least 300 people have died attempting the trek since records began, the BBC reports. 

In fact, Everest's 26,000 feet mark is dubbed the death zone, because there's insufficient oxygen for humans to survive long-term, making even the most simple of manoeuvres feel impossible.

As Hillary Step Treks writes: "The body starts feeling numb... cells stop functioning and die cell by cell, minute by minute." There are also multiple reports of people who've climbed Everest and seen dead bodies for themselves. 

So while the footage from the mountain's peak might be awe-inspiring, the reality is harsh and grim. With that in mind, Basso maintained that he 'shouldn't know' what the top of Everest looks like, adding: "Is that not insane to anyone else?” Fallon pointed out that Basso wouldn't be able to 'unsee' the scenery, as Basso responded: "No. That's what I'm saying. 

If you make it to the top of Mount Everest, that should be yours. He literally stepped over bodies of people. That's all they wanted to see. “And now I'm sitting there going, ‘Huh-huh,'" he reflected. "That's whack.”

Basso added that he wants to 'mind his own business.' "That's the non-consensual images on the Discover page. Stop showing me these things," he said. Gently challenging the actor, Fallon asked if he’d ever seen a movie. 

“Yeah, but I asked to see it. I pressed ‘play’ to see the movie," Basso responded. "I didn't ask to see that view. It was just shown to me.” It's a stark reminder to question what you're actually consuming on your next mindless doom-scroll.

The songwriter was proudly standing next to Eilish at the 2026 Grammys as she accepted the Song of the Year award for ‘Wildflower’. Finneas, 28, co-wrote and produced the track from the 24-year-old star's hit album, Hit Me Hard and Soft.

While onstage, he watched on as she dedicated her speech to inequality in light of the Trump administration’s ICE takeover of several cities in the US, resulting in the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. Eilish declared: "No one is illegal on stolen land. And yeah, it’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now.

"I feel really hopeful in this room and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting and our voices really do matter and the people matter and erm, f**k ICE." In retaliation, some critics appear to have called out the singer's ‘stolen land’ claims, which Finneas took issue with.

In light of the release of the Epstein files, which has seen millions of documents showing the names of many men in high places contained within, the songwriter hit back at the haters. "Seeing a lot of very powerful old white men outraged about what my 24-year-old sister said during her acceptance speech," Finneas wrote on Threads. 

"We can literally see your names in the Epstein files." While a lot of people were debating Eilish's comments, others took aim at reports that her Los Angeles mansion is said to sit on land that used to belong to the Tongva tribe. 

"Oh, gee, this ‘stolen land’ nonsense again? Maybe she should step up and forfeit her Southern California mansion since it is supposedly on ‘stolen land’," Florida Governor Ron DeSantis posted on X. 

Meanwhile, Senator Mike Lee wrote: "Any white person who does a public ‘stolen land’ acknowledgement should immediately give his or her land to native Americans. Otherwise they don’t mean it. Also, I’m pretty sure they don’t mean it."

Lee voted against pressuring the government to release the files, however, it hasn’t been reported that either politician is named in the documents. Finneas didn't include names in his response, and it's worth noting that being mentioned in the files does not suggest they were part of the criminal activities. 

A representative for the Tongva tribe previously told MailOnline: "As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land. "Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country." 

They continued: "It is our hope that in future discussions, the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory." The spokesperson went on to say that they 'partnered closely with the Recording Academy to author the official Land Acknowledgment statement shared during Grammy week and at the Premiere Ceremony'.

They concluded by saying: "The Recording Academy has been an incredible partner to our tribe, and we look forward to continuing the relationship to ensure the voices of the First People of this land are heard and honoured. Ekwa Shem - We are here!"

Both Good and Pretti were fatally shot by federal agents in two separate incidents last month in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Good was shot on January 7 while behind the wheel of her car as she drove away from ICE officers who were carrying out raids in her neighborhood, while Pretti was taking part in an ICE protest on January 24 when he was tackled to the ground by officers and shot.

His death has since been ruled as a homicide by a medical examiner. Donald Trump has addressed both matters and appeared to place blame on both Pretti and Good for the violence that broke out — but now, Trump seemingly developed a more sympathetic point of view.

Speaking with NBC News, the president said he was 'not happy' about what happened. "[Pretti] was not an angel and [Good] was not an angel," Trump said. "You know, you look at some tapes from back, but still, I'm not happy with what happened there. 

Nobody could be happy and ICE wasn't happy either." The POTUS went on to share his thoughts on who 'feels worse than anybody' about the shootings, with his comments marking a contrast on what he's said previously. 

What Trump previously said about Renee Good

In a Truth Social post shared the day after Good's passing, he said of the footage of the moments leading up to the 37-year-old mother being shot: "The woman screaming was, obviously, a professional agitator, and the woman driving the car was very disorderly, obstructing, and resisting, who then violently, wilfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer, who seems to have shot her in self-defense."

"We need to stand by and protect our Law Enforcement Officers from this Radical Left Movement of Violence and Hate," he added. 

What Trump previously said about Alex Pretti

Speaking after Pretti's shooting, Trump alleged that he'd been brandishing a gun; something which has since been refuted by witnesses. He wrote online: "This is the gunman’s gun, loaded (with two additional full magazines!), and ready to go – What is that all about? Where are the local Police? Why weren’t they allowed to protect ICE Officers? The Mayor and the Governor called them off? 

"It is stated that many of these Police were not allowed to do their job, that ICE had to protect themselves — Not an easy thing to do!" In a separate comment, he hailed Pretti as an 'agitator and, perhaps, insurrectionist'. 

Trump went on to say of the footage that emerged of Pretti involved in an altercation with ICE in the days leading up to his death: "Alex Pretti’s stock has gone way down with the just released video of him screaming and spitting in the face of a very calm and under control ICE Officer, and then crazily kicking in a new and very expensive government vehicle, so hard and violent, in fact, that the tail light broke off in pieces." 

Trump now claims it 'should not have happened' 

The POTUS continued: "It should have not happened. It was very sad to me, a very sad incident. I think they were both sad. "And you know who feels worse about it than anybody? The people of ICE."

Earlier this month, the US Department of Justice released 3.5 million more documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files, in which the former Duke of York and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson both appear numerous times. 

Documents include an image of Mountbatten-Windsor on his hands and knees kneeling over an unidentified woman. He is also being accused of making unwanted advances against an exotic dancer, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson appeared to confirm the existence of a son born to Epstein. 

The 65-year-old has consistently 'strongly denied any wrongdoing' ,and being named in the Epstein files does not indicate any knowledge of the disgraced financier's criminal activity.

Now Mountbatten-Windsor's younger brother Prince Edward has become the first member of the Royal Family to address the latest allegations, saying it is 'really important' to remember the victims. The Duke of Kent was faced with questions about the Epstein files while speaking at the World Governments Summit in Dubai. 

The 61-year-old responded by saying his thoughts were with Epstein's victims. "Well, with the best will in the world, I'm not sure this is the audience that is probably the least bit interested in that," he told CNN reporter Eleni Giokos. 

Mountbatten-Windsor, who is the third child of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has not addressed his inclusion in the latest Epstein files drop, which also includes him seemingly sending Epstein an invitation to Buckingham Palace and being offered a date with a 26-year-old Russian woman.

The former Prince was previously stripped of his Royal titles and asked to leave his home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor back in October, after the release of a posthumous memoir from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre which included repeated allegations against him. 

Buckingham Palace's statement confirming the decision included a message from King Charles and Queen Camilla expressing their sympathies to the victims of abuse, which read: "Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse."

Valeria and Camila have in their Instagram bio that they’re ‘two heads’ but ‘one vibe’ but users have quickly spotted a bizarre truth about the women. With just over 100 posts on the platform so far, they’ve also got a TikTok and Telegram set up as they post various fashion pictures with plenty of bikinis, low necklines and short skirts. 

But, it seems they’re not too different to other influencers being called out for being AI such as the one dubbed ‘the world’s most beautiful girl’. Yep, yet again, it seems like this account is too good to be true, despite answering questions on their background via Stories.

Writing that they were ‘born this way’, the twins claimed they get ‘a lot of stares’ but would never consider ‘medical separation’. Valeria and Camila claim to be 25 years old and from Florida and wouldn’t have their life ‘any other way’. 

And in the final part of their Q&A, they claim: “We move, we talk, we’re obviously not AI.” But not everyone seems to agree with that as much of their comments sections see the repeated asks of ‘this real??’ and ‘AI’. Some AI influencers on social media will be pretty upfront on that on their accounts, making it clear they’re not real and kind of leaning into it. 

Yet the twins remain vague and outright deny being AI, completing it with compelling stories about having their spines ‘dangerously fused together’ at birth. They’re still being debunked though, with one AI Prompt Engineer, Andrew Hulbert confirming them as fake to the Daily Mail. “The narrative is created to hype potential interaction. It's the perfect story on the perfect person to give the perfect result of engagement which is what the user is aiming for,” he said.

Hulbert said the images ‘are clearly AI-generated’, pointing out the likes of their hyper-stylised body which their ‘friends’ also seem to share. “These images are the personification of what the media thinks beauty is and there isn't a flaw amongst any of them,” he continued, as he described them as ‘unrealistic’. 

The expert went on to point out their eyes as a ‘key giveaway’ as well the photography itself essentially being too perfect. “Guys this is AI, why is everyone believing this bs,” one user commented on a post, while others go on to splash the praise about their appearance. But then again, maybe some of these people know they’re fake and that’s just what they’re into…

The show was created to give viewers an alternative to Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl 60 event on Sunday, (February 8). It's being organized by the late Charlie Kirk’s political establishment, Turning Point USA, currently headed by is widow, Erika who has taken over position as its CEO. 

As announced on its website, the All American Halftime Show will include performances from the likes of Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett - but people haven’t taken the news well. On social media, people have aired their thoughts on the line-up, having previously begged for long-time conservative country singer, Jason Aldean, to participate.

Unfortunately for them, he’s not been pegged as a performer. “Anyone else disappointed? Honestly your marketing team could have did a better job on this flyer and advertising this event,” one person wrote on X. 

A second penned: “I'll be watching but I am a little disappointed in this lineup. Going to struggle getting Gen Z to care.” “I knew it would be Kid Rock and 3 people I’ve never heard of,” another wrote, as someone else complained: “Y’all remember that TPUSA Halftime show they announced and everyone was like ‘Get Creed’ and ‘I hope they don’t get someone like Kid Rock’. They got Kid Rock….”

However, some were pretty stoked at the prospect of seeing the singers on stage. One person wrote: “This is going to be massive! Is everyone tuning in?” Another said: “Can't wait to see Kid Rock & the crew rock the halftime stage! Who's your top pick?”

As you can expect from this particular crown, there has been some criticism about Bad Bunny potentially performing in Spanish, as he usually does, to an American crowd. 

“I’ve never heard of him,” Donald Trump chimed in during an interview with Newsmax in October 2025. “I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s, like, crazy.” Bad Bunny had a massive historic win at the 2026 Grammys, having took home the Album of the Year on February 1, and has been vocal about sticking to his roots when singing. 

During his Saturday Night Live hosting opportunity in October 2025, he hilariously told the audience that they had ‘four months to learn’ Spanish in preparation for his show. The star scooped up the 'Song of the Year' award for her track 'Wildflower' over the weekend and used the opportunity to make a pointed dig at increased Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids in Minneapolis. 

"As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land," the 24-year-old said on stage, referring to the European colonisation of the Americas between the 15th and 17th centuries. 

She continued: "It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I just feel really hopeful in this room, and I feel like we just need to keep fighting and speaking up and protesting, and our voices really do matter, and the people matter.

"And f**k ICE, that's all I'm gonna say. Sorry!" Eilish's speech received a mixed response among viewers in the heavily divided country, with several people digging up an interesting detail about the 'Birds of a Feather' singer's reported $3 million (£2.1 million) family home in the Highland Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles sits on land originally belonging to the Tongva people. 

A representative for the Tongva people has since confirmed the speculation, with a spokesperson issuing the following statement to MailOnline: "As the First People of the greater Los Angeles basin, we do understand that her home is situated in our ancestral land. 

"Eilish has not contacted our tribe directly regarding her property, we do value the instance when Public Figures provide visibility to the true history of this country." The spokesperson went on to express 'appreciation' for Eilish's Grammys statement and urged the 24-year-old singer, as well as other public figures speaking out about America, to include a reference to their nation.

Who are the Tongva people? 

Indigenous to a 4,000 square mile area in the Los Angeles Basin and the Southern Channel Islands, ancestors of the Tongva or Gabrielino people moved into the land which is now California around 3,500 years ago. 

According to Gabrielino/Tongva nation, there are over 700 citizens living across the city and county of Los Angeles. Unlike other Native American tribes across the US, the Tongva people do not have a federal reservation of their own.

The singer and Only Murders in the Building star is worth over a billion dollars, while Blanco is a record producer who has produced and co-written for albums of some of the biggest stars in the music world. Can I make it any more obvious? If two people start a relationship, get engaged and end up having a wedding, it's not that hard to figure out how they feel about each other. 

Besides, they've done plenty of talking about how they feel about each other in the past as they had been speaking to Interview Magazine for Valentine's Day last year, the last one before they tied the knot, where Blanco said that before he got with Gomez, he'd been focusing on 'being a grownup', but was now happily in a 'sappy' relationship.

It might come across as a bit saccharin, but sometimes people ought to have the licence to be sappy and silly for each other, especially if it's making them happier than ever before. 

Blanco did confess a fear, namely that he was 'so scared she’s just going to wake up and be like, what? No', but he laughed as he said it and Gomez reassured him 'you're stuck with me', which is a good thing to hear when you 'worship the ground she walks on'.

For her part she thought, some time being single before getting with Blanco had helped her appreciate their love all the more, so even if he sometimes worries she'll wake up and not be into it, she sounds like she's very happy. She said: "I’ve kind of been alone in the world.

I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben. "He gets so weirded out by me saying this, but genuinely, 10 years ago, I wasn’t in a space in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of unconditional love that he gives me."

His successor and predecessor Joe Biden is the oldest person ever to occupy the top job in the White House, but when Trump was elected for his second term in January 2025, he was older than Biden had been during that moment in his career. 

Given his age, eating habits and all the health concerns that come with being a 79-year-old man on the large side more thought than usual has to be given to the possibility that he does not make it to the end of his term. He's a rich man and they tend to live longer than most others, and he has access to the best healthcare anywhere in the world, but there are certain biological necessities which cannot be ignored.

That it could happen is something that has to be considered, and there are plans in place should a US president die in office, as it has happened several times before.

The US Constitution has clear instructions for what happens when a president dies or is incapable of continuing to do the job: their vice president takes over. 

It states: "In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected."

Basically, that means if Trump croaks it, then the power of his office passes to his VP JD Vance, who will take over as president. This has happened several times in American history as eight presidents have died in office, four of natural causes and four were assassinated and in each case their VP succeeded them as president. So Donald Trump's continuing health is the only thing between the US and President JD Vance.

The new president is sworn in as soon as possible and gets to pick his cabinet, they could keep their former colleagues or replace them with whomever they like, and they can also choose a new vice president since that job will available in this situation. 

Both houses of Congress have to approve the new VP pick. If Donald Trump happened to die between now and 1 August this year then JD Vance would become the youngest US president in history. 

That accolade is currently held by a former vice president whose president died in office, as Theodore Roosevelt was 42 when William McKinley was assassinated. Vance is currently 41, so he could still become the youngest person ever to be US president.

However, if JD Vance does become president and serves out the rest of Trump's term, then that has a knock-on effect for subsequent elections. 

A president dying in office and being succeeded by their vice president has not historically disrupted the US election cycle but according to the 22nd amendment: "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once."

Basically, should the US continue having elections as normal then Vance's ability to stand in them more than once will be determined by how long Trump's term had left to go. If it's more than two years then he can only stand for election once.

They include drafted emails that Jeffrey Epstein addressed to himself, accusing Gates of contracting an STD from 'Russian girls' before requesting Epstein's 'help'. 

A drafted message dated July 18, 2013, read: "To add insult to the injury you then subsequently with tears in your eyes, implore me to please delete the emails regarding your std, your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda, and the description of your penis."

A spokesperson for Gates has called claims in the emails 'absolutely absurd and completely false'. In a statement to LADbible Group, they said: "The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame." 

While being named or pictured in the files doesn't suggest any wrongdoing, Melinda - who split from Gates in 2021 after 27 years of marriage - has now responded to the allegations. During an appearance on NPR's Wild Card podcast, she said that 'whatever questions remain there of what I don’t — can’t even begin to know all of it — those questions are for those people and for even my ex-husband'.

Melinda added: "They need to answer to those things, not me." The philanthropist continued: "I think we're having a reckoning as a society, right? No girl, no girl should ever be put in the situation that they were put in by Epstein and whatever was going on with all of the various people around him.

Back in 2013, a report in the Wall Street Journal claimed that Epstein had been attempting to 'blackmail' Gates, referring to an alleged relationship with a Russian bridge player. Gates himself is alleged to have met with Epstein on multiple occasions, and has called his association with the convicted sex offender a 'huge mistake'.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal in 2025, Gates said: "He sort of got time with various people by spending time with other people. "So yes, I think I was quite stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it failed to do that and it was just a huge mistake."
