Over $350,000 raised for man who called Trump a ‘pedophile protector’ to his face after he’s suspended from job

A man who was suspended from his job for branding Donald Trump a 'pedophile protector' has had a staggering amount of cash raised for him. Yesterday (January 13), Trump visited a Michigan Ford plant, and the trip took a sour turn when the president was heckled by a member of staff there.

In a video obtained by TMZ, a man shouted at Trump and called him a 'pedophile protector', to which the president seemingly responded by flipping him off. The man who shouted at Trump, who has since been identified as 40-year-old TJ Sabula, was later suspended from his position at Ford. Sabula has now spoken out about the ordeal and is seemingly unfazed by his dismissal.

Sharing that he had 'no regrets' about what he said, Sabula told The Washington Post: "As far as calling him out, definitely no regrets whatsoever." Going on to say that Trump could hear him 'very, very, very clearly', Sabula thinks he was let go and 'targeted for political retribution' as a result of 'embarrassing Trump in front of his friends'. "I don’t feel as though fate looks upon you often, and when it does, you better be ready to seize the opportunity," he added. "And today I think I did that."

The White House has responded to the incident, labelling Sabula a 'lunatic'. White House Communications Director Steven Cheung, who recently took aim at Mark Ruffalo, said in a statement: "A lunatic was wildly screaming expletives in a complete fit of rage, and the President gave an appropriate and unambiguous response." In the wake of Sabula's firing, a GoFundMe was set up for him, and at the time of writing, a whopping $355,474 has been raised.

TJ was suspended from his job at the Ford Automotive Company for correctly calling President Donald J Trump a Pedophile Protector!! "Let’s rally and support TJ and help him pay some bills (and force DJT to release the Trump/Epstein Files) LFG!!"

The page was created by Sean Williams, and he has successfully transferred it over to Sabula, who is now in control of it.

After the clip went viral on social media, Ford’s Executive Director of Corporate Communications, David Tovar, told CNN that they'd 'seen the clip you’re referring to', adding: "One of our core values is respect, and we don’t condone anyone saying anything inappropriate like that within our facilities. "When that happens, we have a process to deal with it but we don’t get into specific personnel matters."

The family of a 26-year-old protester set to be put to death in Iran are 'begging' Donald Trump to intervene before it is too late. Relatives of Erfan Soltani have called on the US President to step in after reports emerged claiming that the shopkeeper is set to be executed today (14 January).

He was arrested last Thursday (8 January) in relation to his attendance at a protest in Fardis, Karaj, which came just four days before his loved ones were reportedly notified that he would be killed. More than 18,100 people have been detained in Iran since demonstrations began erupting across the nation in December following the collapse of its currency, the rial.

According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency, 2,403 protestors have died over the last few weeks as security forces launched a bloody crackdown. The head of Iran’s judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, then announced that those who have been detained at demonstrations will be subject to fast trials and executions.

In a video shared by Iranian state TV, he said: "If we want to do a job, we should do it now. If we want to do something, we have to do it quickly. If it becomes late, two months, three months later, it doesn’t have the same effect. If we want to do something, we have to do that fast." Prior to this, in an interview with CBS aired on Tuesday (13 January), Trump had warned that the US would 'take very strong action' if Iran started executing 'peaceful protestors'. "If they do such a thing, we will take very strong action," the commander-in-chief, 79, said.

"We don’t want to see what’s happening in Iran happen. "And you know, if they want to have protests, that’s one thing, when they start killing thousands of people, and now you’re telling me about hanging - we’ll see how that works out for them. It’s not going to work out good." He also warned in a post on Truth Social that Iranian officials would 'pay a big price' for putting demonstrators to death, while urging people to 'keep protesting'.

Now, Soltani's loved ones are urging Trump to put his money where his mouth is and take action, amid reports that he will face execution on Wednesday. According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, he is facing 'the imminent execution of a death sentence following a rapid and opaque judicial process'.

It explains: "His family learned only days after his arrest that the execution is scheduled to take place this Wednesday. His family has been denied access to any information regarding the charges, case file, or judicial proceedings. "A source close to the Soltani family told Hengaw that authorities informed them the death sentence is final and will be carried out on Wednesday. "The family has reportedly been granted only a brief opportunity for a final visit prior to the execution."

The human rights organisation claims that Soltani has been 'deprived of his most basic rights', including access to a lawyer, 'the right to defence and other fundamental due process guarantees', since being detained. "The rushed and non-transparent handling of this case has heightened concerns over the use of the death penalty as a tool to suppress public protests," it added.

A relative of Soltani, named Somayeh, personally pleaded with Trump to 'stand behind the words he said' now that the shopkeeper is seemingly up against a ticking clock. Speaking to CNN, she said that Soltani was an 'incredibly kind and warm-hearted young man' who has 'always fought for the freedom of Iran'.

"Our demand now is that Trump truly stand behind the words he said, because the Iranian people came to the streets based on those statements," Somayeh said. "An unarmed population trusted these words and is now under gunfire. I beg you, please do not let Erfan be executed. Please. "I cried so much... I keep feeling as if I am in a dream. [Soltani] has always fought for the freedom of Iran, and today we see him standing under the gallows."

She also insisted that Soltani has never 'resorted to violence' during protests while making her poignant plea, while describing him as a person who 'always wanted people to be at least free in the most basic aspects of life'. Arina Moradi, from the Hengaw Organization, told The Telegraph that this 'is the quickest we have seen a case move'.

"This is the pattern of the Islamic Republic – for the judiciary to swiftly punish protesters with the death penalty," she said of Soltani's reportedly scheduled execution. "This will certainly not be a single case." If it goes ahead, he will be the first person who has been put to death in relation to the current unrest in Iran.

Renee Nicole Good's family member shares unexpected stance on her fatal ICE shooting

A man who Renee Nicole Good once called her father-in-law has made a shocking statement to the media in the wake of the mother-of-three's death by ICE agent in Minneapolis. 37-year-old Good was killed last Wednesday in a vehicle-related shooting incident during the ongoing Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids throughout the Twin Cities, which saw agent Jonathan Ross fire multiple shots into her car.

The fatal shooting took place just a few hours after she had dropped off her six-year-old son at school, when she attempted to drive away from a group of ICE officers who were facing off with protesters, which included her wife. He said the shooting was 'hard for everybody involved'.

Macklin told CNN’s Erin Burnett OutFront that 'I’m not blaming anybody', and echoed claims from ICE and the Trump administration that Good was using her car to attack federal agents.

Although it's important to note that has not been supported by video evidence of the incident. He said: “I mean, the ICE agent, you know, at first I didn‘t see the footage where... he was actually being rammed. I mean, I‘ve seen the bumper of the car hitting his legs. And so in a flash like that, it‘s hard to say how you would react.”

Separately, President Trump has labeled Good as a 'domestic terrorist', while DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has said that the mom and poet used her car in an 'attempt to kill or to cause bodily harm to agents.' Speaking to the media this week, Macklin, whose son had been married to Good for five years before passing away in 2023 and is the father to her six year old son Emerson, called Good a 'great person' but also raised his disapproval of her actions.

The preacher added: “I think there’s some bad choices... if we’re walking in the spirit of God, I don’t think she would have been there. That’s the way I look at it.”

He said of his former daughter-in-law, who married her wife Rebecca following his son's death: “Do I agree with everything that she did? Absolutely not.” When pressed on a video in which Good was called a 'f***ing b**h' just moments after multiple shots were fired, Macklin suggested Ross 'don't know the lord like he should'.

It is unclear who made the remark, but Macklin appeared to assume it was Ross as he told CNN: "His statement that he made after the incident, the things he called her, I mean, that‘s definitely showing evidence that he that he don‘t know the Lord like he should." Later, the host showed him an excerpt of an interview the network had with President Trump, where he showed a different tone than when he called Good a 'domestic terrorist'.

He said: "I would bet you that she, under normal circumstances, was a very solid, wonderful person. But her actions were pretty tough. I’ve seen it many ways and many different shapes and forms.” After seeing this from Trump, Macklin added: “Renee was an amazing person, she was full of life, full of joy, a real gentle, good mother. I just think we make bad choices and that’s the problem.”

In a fresh development, a new report from the Daily Mail stated that “there was an exchange of legal letters” between Brooklyn and his parents through their legal teams Schillings and Harbottle & Lewis.

Following up, a report from The Mirror suggested that Brooklyn, who didn't want his parents to contact him or make public statement, sent the legal letter in order to “protect his mental health”. The Beckhams are understood to be “devastated” by the legal request, despite not action being taken.

Despite all the drama and fences being mended looking unlikely, Victoria is said to harbour hopes that a reunion will happen. As per Closer, "Insiders say that Victoria still hasn’t given up hope that 2026 will see some kind of reunion". A source commented: "There’s no question of her giving up on Brooklyn; her ‘door remains open’ policy remains. Nothing will change that."

Donald Trump issued a surprising response when he was asked for an update regarding his promise to send Americans $2,000 in dividends as a result of his administration's controversial tariffs. Taking to Truth Social last year to explain the policy, Trump said: "People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS! We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country In the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. 401k’s are Highest EVER.

"We are taking in Trillions of Dollars and will soon begin paying down our ENORMOUS DEBT, $37 Trillion. Record Investment in the USA, plants and factories going up all over the place. A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone." The government has said that the series of 'refunds' will be issued to households across the country, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent explaining exactly how it will work.

Speaking last month, Bessent said: “I think we’re going to see $100 [billion] to $150 billion of refunds, which could be between $1,000, $2,000 per household." The politician went on to clarify that checks for the refunds are expected to arrive in the first quarter of 2026.

Trump was asked about these payments during an Oval Office interview with the New York Times last week, with Katie Rogers asking: "You’ve promised $2,000 checks to Americans based off of your tariff revenues.

When can they expect those?" The president initially seemed stumped that he promised such, asking when he made such a commitment. “I did do that? When did I do that?," he said. Before the journalist tried to explain, Trump quickly interjected with: "Yeah, I’m thinking. Well, I did $1,776 for the military."

The POTUS was then asked when Americans should expect to receive their 'check', to which Trump responded: "The tariff money is so substantial. That’s coming in, that I’ll be able to do $2,000 sometime. I would say toward the end of the year."

There's also the worry for the president that Congressional approval would be required for the payments to come through, though Trump doesn't believe that will be a problem. "No, I don’t believe we do. We have it coming in from other sources," Trump said.

Trump said back in November in the Oval Office during an event about the FIFA World Cup heading to the US in June that the payments would come through prior to the soccer getting underway. "We’re gonna be issuing dividends later on, somewhere prior to - the middle of next year, a little bit later than that," the 79-year-old said.

Teen who was only survivor of parents' murder-suicide dies suddenly aged 19

A teenager who survived the murder-suicide of his immediate family last year has died at the age of 19, according to a GoFundMe page. In December 2024, police confirmed that there was only one survivor of a murder-suicide in West Valley City, Utah.

Authorities confirmed that a family member came into the West Valley City home and discovered the then 17-year-old Sha Reh suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home. Police later found five other family members deceased inside the property. They were identified as Sha’s mother, Bu Meh, 38, and his siblings — sisters Kristina Ree, 8, and Nyay Meh, 2, and brother Boe Reh, 11. Police stated that they believed Sha’s father, Dae Reh, 42, killed his wife and children before taking his own life.

Sha was shot in the head and would eventually lose his vision as a result, but otherwise recovered. However, family members have now confirmed that the 19-year-old has tragically died. In a GoFundMe set up for the funeral costs, his extended family released a statement, confirming his death. “It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Sha Reh. He passed away unexpectedly in the home of his aunt and uncle on Sunday, January 11, 2026," it read.

“Sha Reh lost his mother, father, two sisters, and brother in a tragic event that was widely reported in the news media in December of 2024. Sha Reh was also a victim of the shooting but miraculously survived his parents and siblings.

Despite losing his vision in both eyes, and over the course of the past 13 months, Sha Reh overcame numerous obstacles on his pathway to healing. "He successfully enrolled in the Utah School for the Deaf and Blind in January of 2025, where he learned to communicate in Braille and live independently.”

His family went on to thank the Salt Lake County officials and the first responders who attended the murder of Sha’s family. In May of last year, Sha spoke about how he kept a positive outlook despite losing his vision and having to learn braille.

Speaking to KSL, he compared learning braille to learning English when his family moved from Myanmar to the US. Sha, who was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also said his faith helped him stay positive. He said: “I strive to do good things in this world. I am very grateful and blessed to have this opportunity to be happy."

Trump has bizarre response after reporter asks him if deadly force was necessary for Renee Nicole Good

Donald Trump had a shocking response when asked whether deadly force should have been used against mom-of-three Renee Nicole Good. US citizen Renee, 37, was shot dead by an ICE agent in front of her wife during a protest against ICE in Minneapolis on January 7.

However analysis of footage of the tragedy from several angles by a number of news outlets including the New York Times has challenged this narrative, with their analysis concluding that video showed Renee had been attempting to drive away from the scene when Ross shot her three times at point-blank range. Now, Trump has responded to questions about whether the use of deadly force against mom-of-three Renee was necessary.

Trump said: "It was highly disrespectful of law enforcement." The president went on to claim that they had been 'harassing' officers and 'following them for days, for hours', and also accused them of being 'professional agitators'. Referring to Renee's wife Becca Good, Trump said: "The woman and her friend were highly disrespectful of law enforcement."

He added: "Law enforcement should not be in a position where they have to put up with this stuff." Trump went on to call the actions of Renee and her wife 'outrageous'. In the clip, which shows Trump speaking to journalists on a plane with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt standing behind him, the president does not appear to directly answer the question of whether deadly force was justified.

Minnesota governor Tim Walz also told press that he had issued an alert to the state's national guard as a precautionary measure. Other video of the tragedy shows ICE officers barring a man saying he is a physician from attending to Renee to check for a pulse after she was shot.

When the man tells officers that he is a physician and wants to administer medical aid, an officer responds by telling him: "I don't care." Footage of the tragedy shot by Ross on his phone shows Renee's last words to him, where she calmly told her killer: "That's fine dude. I'm not mad at you." As Renee's car careens out of control after Ross shot her dead at the wheel, he can be heard muttering 'f*****g b***h'.
